Large porcelain dinner deep rimmed plate, 30cm (12 inches) in diameter, is made from hard wearing porcelain, microwave, oven and dishwasher proof.
Deep rimmed plates (previously called deep rimmed bowls) have a depth of 4.5cm (1 ¾ inches) and are good for pasta, soups and dishes with lots of sauce, as well as having a contemporary feel. Often restaurants use this style of plate for main courses as it tends to centre the food.
