An original watercolour painting with oil pastel, pen and ink, image size 40cm x 60cm.

This view is just above Langass Lodge (a great place to stay if visiting the island of North Uist), painted on quite a moody day, with the contasting colours of the stones, set amongst the heather and bracken and across the loch to the mountain of Eval. It was great to paint amongst the stones, you get to really feel the spirt of them and the place, fortunately the midges were not out!

This is also the original painting to one of the Hebridean tablemats.
